I needed a place to organize all of my recipes. I have recipes all over and this is a way for my family to have easy access to my favorites. All recipes that I post will be ones that I have personally tried and enjoy but I am also hoping that my family will contribute their favorites as well.

There is an exception to the rule - I am posting my Grandma Birrell's recipes from a cookbook that gave me. She was a great cook and I thought it would be nice to pass them on. I can't help myself from laughing as I read these recipes because she probably just tossed in the ingredients instead of precisely measuring. We are going to have to guess on some of the ingredients, like one can of milk - evaporated or sweetened condensed, only she can tell us but she has passed on so all we can do is experiment.

I think that I will try some of these recipes because they sound good but there is one that I will definitely pass on, Becky this one is for you, Oatmeal Cookies. I hate raisins so a cookie with 2 to 4 cups of raisins and 10 tablespoons of raisin water just isn't for me.

Hope you all enjoy!
